I remember reading the script for "Venus Teaches the Atom" when I was a science-oriented freshman high school student. Boy, that really made me want to become a teacher. Of course, when I finally did start teaching for a while, I learned that classroom teaching can't always be so dynamic and creative. That's not to say that there wasn't plenty of room for being creative; it's just that Venus's atom-teaching incident was a bit unusual in that regard.
